Delta's Restaurant in New Brunswick, NJ

Has anyone tried it out? I looked at the menu on the website and was quite intrigued. I eat out in New Brunswick on occasion and would love to try it.

I work in NB and have been to Delta's a few times. I'm pretty sure I posted about it after the first time, but that was quite a while ago. I haven't been there in over a year though, so I'm not sure about my old brain remembering right, but ...

I think the food was fairly good. I also remember it being a bit more upscale than the typical local soul food joint and had prices to match. Since I make some very good soul, southern, and cajun dishes myself, that may be part of the reason I am not there more often.

Either way, I am sure that I didn't think they have the best southern cooking ever, or I know I'd be there too often.

Did not understand how these boards worked when I started. Still have a long way to go, learn more and more about food everyday. It is a very good hobby.

That's about one of the only places in NB I havent been yet. Definately need to go soon. They did just get nominated for best southern cusine in America by some publication, though.

Really? That is awesome. I love southern cooking so it is a definite "must" to get over there as soon as possible. Let me know how you like it juman.
