Offal at Rosebud

For those of you who are offally inclined, thought I'd mention that the latest menu at Rosebud features a few interesting items. Unfortunately I didn't make any notes, but I can recall a salad with sweetbreads (which we did not order) and a pressed terrine of pig-bits (ears, tail, snout). There was also a pretty fantastic tenderloin steak on offer served with bone marrow on the side. A charcuterie plate is now also available, as an app.

I did try the nose-to-tail terrine and greatly enjoyed the textural contrasts contained in each bite. It was served with a sweet onion jam, crunchy pickles, crisp buttery pita, and a very devilled egg. A very successful dish.

Sorry I'm not able to recall any more details, but hopefully others will give the new menu a try and report back.

Ah, thanks for the correction. I was too busy enjoying the food and the company to focus in on the details!

Thank you for the review. I will be heading there in September. Can't wait to try Matt Cowan's decadence once again! I miss him in the neighborhood.
