IKEA Breakfast - $0.99
I know I will get a few snickers, and "Oh brothers!" but just a heads up to those who might care.
IKEA's Breakfast is now $0.99. Includes: scrambled eggs, Swedish pancakes with lingonberry (on some days it will be French Toast Sticks), two bacon strips, and Swedish potatoes (sometimes regular hash browns substitute).
Add $0.75 for a cup of coffee.
Breakfast hours are:
Mon.-Fri. from 9:30am to 11:00am and Sat. & Sun. from 9am to 11:00am
Early Bird dinners from 2pm to 4pm Monday - Friday are $1.99. 10 of their meatballs in gravy, 2 Boiled Red Potatoes, lingonberry sauce, and a roll with butter.

Yeah, but did you have to assemble it yourself with a little allen wrench?
Actually, it sounds like a good deal!

Yeah...I just came back from having it. Not bad. Although, they did not include the pancakes as I mentioned before. Only potatoes, eggs, and bacon. The Swedish pancakes can be ordered extra, I think. Not sure for how much, but I bet it is less than a buck.

I actually had this once since I had to go to Ikea one morning, it wasn't very filling or good really. I'd actually prefer spending a buck or two more and getting some Mickey-D's.
I got a cinnamon roll with it though...so that helped.

To me it's 3 times better than the breakfast at Mickey D's.
I am a light eater, so I was full after one plate. But then, for $0.99 cents more, if I were so inclined and still hungry, I can get another plate and still be spending the same amount of money as if I bought one Egg McMuffin.

But Xericx is right. Don't expect a culinary revelation at IKEA, especially for $0.99. But hey, I still like it. A plus: the Daim Torte ($1.79) is damn good!
BTW, speaking of cheap breakfasts, I love the Filipino Breakfasts at Chowking in Cerritos. It's Garlic Fried Rice, your choice of breakfast meat (Longanisa, Tocino, Bangus, Ham or Corned Beef Hash), Fried Egg, and some Sliced Tomatoes and Cucumbers. All for $3.99 (as I recall).

Oh yeah. I went to the Chowking in Carson for breakfast once. Pretty good for the price....I'm a big eater though.
