What About Ship's Cafe in Catonsville?

Was wondering if any of the Chowhounds have ever dined at this establishment. I've seen the recommendations for Catonsville Gourmet. Have had carry-out from Chef Paolino's and Wings 'n Things. But, haven't seen anyone mention Ship's cafe, whether pro or con.

Sometimes I just want basic, non-trendy food in a casual atmosphere. My husband and I don't always feel like trekking to downtown, despite the fact that we are only minutes away. Sometimes the hassle with parking isn't worth the effort or added expense. We don't mind venturing to the city on the weekends, but for a casual, easily accessible place, we considered trying Ship's Cafe.

We like Snyder's Willow Grove, but need a change of pace.

Any comments? Thanks. FoiGras

I have only had crabs there twice and they were really good.

Catonsville Gourmet is wonderful though. They have a great seafood market in the back also.

It is a crab place. If you want crabs or steamed shrimp go there, Anything else in my opinion taste like the food at any other crab place that offers other food. Not very good. Very crowded on Saturdays.
