Looking for family-friendly restaurants in Kauai

Hi Folks,

I read the Kauai threads and am looking for family-friendly places to eat in Kauai this coming weekend/week. We have a 4 year old and 7 year old and also two vegetarians in the group. We're staying at the Outrigger Waipuli Resort in Kaapa so places near there will be helpful - we will have a car too. Thanks in advance!

I want to say that every place in Kauai is family friendly. No worries about that.
Hamura's Saimin in Lihue is an absolute must while on Kauai.
With a large Asian and visitor population, most places are vegetarian friendly.
    Enjoy your visit here.

      Brick Oven Pizza..
      5492 Koloa Rd
      Koloa, HI 96756
Kids won't think it's weird but parents will appreciate it being baked on a brick hearth with some tasty toppings..

Incredible food, but for a 4 year old and 7 year old plus vegetarians -- not so much. The young kids are likely to think all the "stuff" in the saimin is strange. And my guess is the stock for the soup is a dashi made with pork bones (I'm not certain, but it certainly tastes meaty). Best ramen style dish I've ever had (and Men Kui Tei in the shadow of the WTC in NYC was may former favorite).
