Da Shin in Media?

FrancisdeR Aug 12, 2009 10:03 AM

Friends have suggested this place for dinner, as a BYO Chinese.

Anyone have any views or experience? TIA

Margaret Kuo's is definitely better than Da Shin.....plus MK's also serves Japanese cuisine as well!

Thanks, all. You are confirming what I intuited. We suggested to our friends that we would like to go to Peking. It would be interesting to compare it to Mandarin, our local MK restaurant that appears to have the same menu (at least online).

I've eaten here a couple times....Da Shin is good for typical american-chinese cuisine. Nothing amazing, but a lot better than the other local chinese restaurants around the area. Hope this helps!

Thanks, I somehow suspected that, or else it would have appeared on this board. I'm going to guess that the Margaret Kuo restaurant in Granite Mall would be a notch better (I am familiar with the one in Frazer, which has exactly the same menu). Do you agree?

Margaret Kuo would be a better option than Da Shin. But if you're looking for BYOB MK has a liquor license.

yes, Margaret Kuo's is definitely a notch better as far as food is concerned. I am only familiar with peking at the granite run mall and her location in Media though....
