Work farewell party - sit-down dinner for a group (25-40)

Hello everyone,

I'm planning a farewell party for my boss. We are looking for a sit-down restaurant that will accommodate a large group, in the price range of $50 - $75 / person. Most guests are not adventurous eaters, so Italian, French, or American would be preferred. We are happy to have our party early- or mid-week if that helps. Any good suggestions?

We were thinking Midtown or lower Manhattan.

I dont know where you are looking, but I am just assuming midtown for some reason.
    How about Giambelli?

Our group of 30 had a lovely breakfast at Fresco by Scotto a few weeks ago. The staff is very accomodating and the food is delicious. Ask for Johanna... give her your budget and she will do her best to work something out for you. Ther have a private room as well. (I've had dinner there and that was quite good as well!)

They are on E 52nd off Madison Ave
