Cincy East Side Casual Food

I'm going back to visit my mom and she has moved to a part of Cincy I am not familiar with at all. She is near the Lunken Airport between Kellog Ave. and Beechmont Ave. I'm looking for some suggestions for Chowhound worthy casual restaurants. I'll have my two year old boy with me so I am not really looking for fine dining, just some options other than fast food for lunch or dinner, to break up my binges of Skyline.

I would try Maribelle's on Riverside (what used to be Eastern Avenue). I also like Pelican's Reef on Beechmont, basically a bar that specializes in seafood.

There's the BBQ Revue on Madison Rd. Good ribs, chicken and pulled pork (though I'm not a huge fan of their sauce). Allyn's Cafe is on Columbia Pkwy. Very casual and very tasty. Terry's Turf Club in Linwood won a best burger mention from Bobby Flay, but I've never been there. There's always Zip's Cafe in Mt. Lookout which is a dive that serves greasy (but tasty) burgers. I'm not overly familiar with anything to the east of Lunken though the little cafe at the airport itself wasn't too bad and is useful for keeping little ones entertained.
