crispy m&ms

Oh how I love them, and then they were gone!
They were the best M&Ms product ever! (altho almond ones are holding me over)
They are still available in Japan and apparently UK, why not in USA?

just wanted to give hope to those similarly obsessed (or maybe it's just me o_O)

    The coconut m&ms are yummy and I hate m&ms.

      I would try your local Dollar Store. They usually sell shipments of "older "candy. I wouldn't recommend buying chocolate bars there, but M & M's should be ok.

        <don't buy old peanut m&ms, though.>

        Although, not the crispy ones... I was at the grocery store recently and saw an empty display box for coconut m&m's. I had never seen these before and asked the clerk if they had any left - no. I cannot find them now. Anyone ever see these? Are they good? My husband would likely love these.

          The coconut M&Ms are a limited edition item that came out in June. Once they're gone, they'll be gone (unless Mars decides to make them regular/seasonal).

          I saw them today at Walgreen's. They had them up by the register and were really pushing them last month.

            I have seen coconut ones on most convenience stores this summer, but have you seen Strawberry Peanut Butter ones?! I haven't tried them since I hate peanut butter, and the combination does not make PB any more appealing. o_O

            If you have a store like Big Lots in your area, try checking there. I find them there occasionally (not regularly, unfortunately). When I see them, I stock up because I probably wont seem them the next time I am there.

              Quite simply, they weren't popular enough to continue selling them.

              You can write to Mars and ask them to bring them back.

              They have returned a few times as a limited edition item, except perhaps a little different. Most recently there was a Crispy Mint version for the Indiana Jones movie last summer.

              They do still sell them in Canada/Australia/Indonesia and you can find them on eBay every once in a while. I've been finding them ever so often at a wine shop that sells imported candies in Los Angeles called Mel & Rose.

                oooh, the crispy mint m&ms were awesome. i still have some in my stash, along with the lovely wild cherry m&ms, which are also long gone from the market.
