Palos Park Breakfast Meeting?

kiwi Aug 11, 2009 11:29 AM

Hi Folks,
I need to set up a 9am (weekday) breakfast meeting for 4 or 5 people in Palos Park. I'm looking for a restaurant that would let them talk and linger over their breakfast and coffee without being rushed out. Nothing fancy required. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
Carrie

I'll call my mom and get back to you - I grew up there! My dad was actually the very first village administrator. I haven't been there in a long time, though, so am not sure what to recommend.

Thanks Missy! I don't know the area at all, so an insider tip would be great.

My mom said try Lumes Pancake House - it's at 12401 S Harlem Ave in Palos Heights. Phone is (708) 361-7744. She said they have the BEST Swedish Pancakes. It isn't four star or anything, but she says she loves it.

Edited to add that she says it should meet your requirements nicely. :)

Missy, thank you so much for going out of your way! And please thank your mom for me. I just called Lumes and spoke with the nicest lady. She said they would absolutely be able to accommodate my guys! You and your mom are life savers!!
          Very sincerely,
