Anyone know a reliable source of jicama in SD?
Readily available all over, Mexican markets all stock it. Windmill Farms in Del Cerro always has it in a basket by the onions and potatoes. Pancho Villa on El Cajon always has it.
Amongst many other places, I know Whole Foods has it.
I have seen it at Wholefoods, Ralphs, Vons, Albertson, Major, Jimbos.
Big huge barrell as you enter Northgate.
My bad thought you were looking for Jimaica (Hibiscus Flower). Hard not to find Jicama.
Wow, Vons? I hadn't even bothered looking, I figured no way. I'll check our Vons tonight.
California Produce and North Park Produce
The Asian grocery stores in City Heights would be an excellent source.
Ralphs, Vons, Whole Foods. It's a staple in the fresh fruit and veggie section.
