Bobby's Burger Palace, Mohegan Sun
Grabbed a bite at BBP this weekend. Two of us, no sides just two burgers. It was $7.50 for each burger. I had the LA Burger which had an avocado relish, watercress, cheddar and tomato. Partner had the Bobby Blue Burger with blue cheese, bacon, lettuce and tomato. The bacon was nice and thick, burgers were nice and juicy, cooked perfectly medium as specified. Condiments are on the tables which include ketchup, yellow mustard, chipotle ketchup, jalapeno sauce and burger sauce (which looked A1/brown sauce like but I didn't try it). I tried the jalapeno sauce which was fiery and a nice compliment to my LA burger.
Didn't order sides but I saw them around, definitely big enough for two to split. I only spied the sweet potatoes fries, which looked awesome, and the onion rings which looked good, though they have a heavier batter which I know some people aren't in to.
All in all, I would go back again. Great burgers are abound so I wouldn't call it the best ever, but a fine burger for sure. I would have no problem plunking down $7.50 for another one when in the area.

I had the Bobby Blue burger which was tasty and not too big. Good for me because I normally can't finish a huge burger, but bad for my wallet at $7.50...it could easily be a $6 burger for the size.
But the fries were the real deal. Fresh, cooked perfectly, a nice little tin pail of them. And they come with this spicy dipping sauce that was excellent. Also the chipotle ketchup sitting on the counter was really good with the fries as well. I'd go back just to eat fries. I saw the sweet potato fries go by and they looked good as did the onion rings. But the regular fries were awesome, just awesome.

I was psyched to eat here after watching Bobby go on and on about great french fries on the show, "The Best Thing I ever Ate."
We ate after a little gambling and had an order of the regular fries and a black and white shakes.... the shakes were awesome, but the fries really weren't so good. Not salted enough, and too crispy- I think we got the bottom of the batch- they were all small fries as well. The dipping sauce was great.-

Sorry you had a bad experience. I would have sent my fries back if they were cold. Mine were hot, crispy and really some of the best fries I've had. My mom made great fries. My grandfather owned a diner so my mom made them the way he made them...cut the fries, soak in water. First fry to blanch, second fry to crisp up and serve. I think Flay does it the same way.

It was nice to be reminded of this burger place (I'm a burger fiend). They do a great job.
I don't like to gamble at Mohegan (I much prefer Foxwoods -- it's the people). However, while we're "in the neighborhood" it's nice to walk through Mohegan and sometimes have a bite to eat.
