RW: Locke-Ober

Always wanted to eat at Locke-Ober, even before Lydia Shire arrived, but I finally got there today for a Restaurant Week lunch. My friend and really enjoyed it. A lengthy list of entrees to choose from as well as generous offerings of first courses and desserts. We had the peach gazpacho, which came with a salad (not just a garnish) on the side. For entree, I had the rise e brisi & short ribs. My friend had the roast chicken. Dessert was lemon Pavlova. Great service, of course, and a really nice experience overall.

My wife and I had dinner there during RW last winter and greatly enjoyed it. I believe the portions were smaller than they would normally serve, which suited us just fine, we were actually able to finish all three courses.

Good to hear. I've enjoyed it in the past and have a res this week.
