Florence, Cinque Terre and Rome Restaurant Ideas

My wife and I (who will be 7 months pregnant) will be spending two days each in Florence, Cinque Terre and Rome at the beginning of September (starting on Labor day). We are looking for some restaurant recommendations for both lunch and dinner in these areas (or spots along the way when driving from city to city).

We will have a car until we get to Rome. Ideally we would be looking for relaxed spots (not too fancy) and not too expensive (say $50 for lunch and $100 for dinner for both of us with only me drinking). But if a place is really worth the extra expense, then we are game.

Also, are reservations recommended for this time of year or does it depend on the place.

Restaurants in Rome and Florence are discussed here frequently. It will be worth your while to do "Search this board" searches for both cities. You will find many, many recommendations made over the past 6-12 months already here for you. You can also simply scroll down thru the board to find them.

There have also been some discussion of the Cinque Terre, so I would suggest doing a search as well.
