Gypsy Kitchen, Quincy

My wife and I had a really nice experience at Gypsy Kitchen in Quincy on Saturday. I was waiting for tires at Sullivan tire when we decided to walk over and check out their wine and cheese and selection.

Lisa was incredibly helpful. I made the mistake/great fortune of telling her that Great Hill Blue cheese was my favorite. I tried 3 different blues from France and they were unbelievable. We also did and parmesan comparison. My wife likes a milder cheese and I like a sharper one. We had to write down each one to remember them for later.

They have a pretty comprehensive hot sauce selection. I still get nightmares from Dave's insanity sauce. Her wine selection especially the italian reds seem to be hand selected.

We'll definitely be regular customers.

Gypsy Kitchen is great, but it's best to go there when Lisa is there because she is the most knowledgeable when it comes to the cheeses. I've also purchased some very nice wine at reasonable prices from her. Pate's are quite good as well.
