ISO Chowhound quality San Francisco delivery restaurants

Caryl Aaron Aug 9, 2009 10:56 PM

I don't get out much anymore but would like to have a delicious meal delivered. I'm hoping that in this economy more restaurants would consider delivery as an option. So, do you know of any good quality restaurants (all cuisines) that deliver in San Francisco? I've already searched Menu Pages. TIA.

Here are the restaurants in the Chow Restaurants database marked as having delivery. I think though, that grubhub may be the best resource.

Thanks rworange for the great listing of delivery restaurants. I'll make my way thru the list and will probably gain the lbs. but it will be worth it (grin). Thanks!

Plenty of good restaurants do deliver to nearby neighborhoods. Where are you?

Not my side of town, unfortunately. Does Gourmet Carousel on Gough deliver?

I think Rotee (lower Haight Indian) delivers to that area, as does Tai Chi on Polk. Also most of the Thai restaurants on Lombard (Yukol) plus maybe Sai Jai.

The biggest problem with delivery is finding food that doesn't suffer irreparably from the half hour delay. Vietnamese usually holds up well.

Thanks, Robert. I also know about: Delivery.Com; SeamlessWeb.com.; My Waiter.com; Eat24Hours.com (these may be helpful to others in the San Francisco area. Hounds, any others?
