Help! Cracked casserole dish....

I've got a crack in my casserole dish...it's not expensive, I just have sentimental value to it. Is there any way I can patch it?

I agree. Throw it out!!! Or else glue it and use it for display only, if it is that important to you. Never cook in it again; never serve food in it again.

Are you willing to risk the darned thing breaking in your oven and spilling the contents all over the bottom? The resultant smoke and possible fire? Glass in your food and a ruined dinner? Lead seepage? Huh? Is it really worth it?

You don't say what it's made of but I'd say a hearty NO. I'd always feel it was compromised and could cause a big mess and missed meal. If it's sentimental, just keep it around for that purpose. Store potatoes or other things in it.
