Cott's Black Cherry soda in Calgary?

Just wondering if anyone has come across Cott's Black Cherry soda here in Calgary? I think it usually comes in cans. I tried it while I was in Montreal and I became hooked on it, esp. when paired with Montreal Smoked meat. I've tried other brands here in Calgary such as Stewart's black cherry but I still think Cott's taste better.

I haven't seen cott's since I was in On/PQ. Have you checked their site?

Yes, their site doesn't really provide much detail. It lists all the different chains in North America that carry their product. It doesn't break it down by province or state. It lists places such as walmart, costco, superstore, safeway, etc., although I'm pretty sure those chains in western canada don't carry it. I'm just curious whether anyone has seen it here at places like Dollarama in Calgary. Apparently, in Montreal, it's not easy to find in the supermarkets as well but I have a friend who found it at Dollarama in Montreal, 3 cans for $1 recently.

I don't think I've ever seen Cott in Calgary, but I have seen Cott Cola in Saskatoon at Superstore.

          There's a Consumer Information Center 1-888-260-3776
          http://www.cott.com/consumers/faqs#where
Maybe they can aim you at a local retailer.

I don't know if this helps, but when I lived in NY we used to drive over to Ontario and get Cotts soda in a grocery store called Loblaws. I searched and there is not one here, but they are affiliated with Superstore?

Loblaw owns RC Superstore, but they don't necessarily have all the same products.

I was at a Zellers (Sunridge Mall) recently and noticed they carry Cott's soda. I am pretty sure they had cola and lemon-lime but I really wasn't paying attention so they might also carry black cherry.

Zellers also carries Pop Shoppe pop now(saw a display by the cashier), and iirc their Black Cherry was pretty good too :)

I know this is for Calgary, but I found Cott's black cherry at Army and Navy at the Cordova location in Vancouver. Their store in Calgary might carry it if you're still looking for a source!

Thanks. I'll make a trek down to Army and Navy to check it out here in Calgary. Plus I'll be in Vancouver soon too as well. Maybe I'll pick up some while I'm in town. I love pairing this with Schwartz's MSM. Now... if only I could find Schwart's MSM here out west.

I seem to recall seeing Cott's recently... London Drugs maybe?? I'll be out and about tomorrow, if I come across it again I'll report back. :)

I don't know if it's the same thing but I had cherry coke at Schwartz's maybe 25 years ago, I understood it's coke with grenadine (although I didn't care for it at all). I didn't like their smoked meat either (too fatty, and thick slices, I prefer thin, Ben's was way better) so your tastes may differ.

i'm pretty sure all president's choice sodas are from Cott's... or at least they were at one point.

I remember once there was a pretty well publicized report on a taste test between coke, pepsi, and the President's Choice (i.e. Cott's) cola, and PC won.

i don't have time for a serious internet search on this, but this old thread also seems to suggest the same thing http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/98977

If you're looking just to have a can or two with a nice smoked meat sandwich and an order of poutine, Alberta King of Subs has Cotts Black Chery Soda as well as Birch Beer, if I remember correctly.
