Cheese factories/tours - Sonoma, etc.

I'm driving from Berkeley to Santa Rosa with my daughter who loves cheese -- I've been to the Marin French Cheese Factory which I'm sure she will like, but is there any other place to stop and taste cheese at a farm or similar in the Sonoma country area?

Be sure to check out the Sonoma County Farm Trails website:

There's a new cheesemaker, bohemian, that's making really excellent product. http://www.chow.com/places/45414 The cheese counter at Oliver's is very good, as is The Cheese Shop in Healdsburg to fill in the range for local cheeses.

Thanks! I think Matos is the one I remember visiting when I went to SSU many moons ago.

If you go be prepared for a pleasant surprise. It hasn't changed since I first went there 30+ years ago.
