Vegas-standouts for $100 a couple
Hi, we'll be visiting with friends (not until March). We can't spring for the top tier places on the strip (staying near the Sahara), but would like to get your take on finer dining for about $100 (or less) a couple, excluding alcohol.
I've searched the board and have the names of the $25 places, but looking for something a little nicer, for one night.
We will not have a car, so must rely on cab or pedal power.
Almost forgot, we're talking continental cuisine, but would also appreciate recommendations for steak and seafood.

Try the tasting menus at the Wynn/Encore. The hubby and I went to Daniel Boulud...the best meal of our lives...and without the booze, it was about $100 for the both of us. Charlie Palmer Steak has a great Sunday Supper that retails for about $100 for two...we did that as well, and it was one of the more memorable meals we've ever had. Service there was spectacular. Try looking for the recession deals post...lots of great information there. Have a great time!
