Is Phoenix Food Boutique Taiwanese or Hong Kong Style Food?

I'm confused with Phoenix Food Boutique. Is it considered to be more Hong Kong Food or Taiwanese food? I see a lot of Cantonese specific items at Phoenix like some of the hot desserts and dishes that look like they are from Hong Kong cafes. But some people claim that it is Taiwanese. What are the Taiwanese dishes at this place?

Thanks.

It's a dead ringer for a HK "cha chaan teng", or teashop. The only Taiwanese dish I've seen is some branches serve pei gu fan -- pork chop rice.

That said, there's a lot of crossover in teahouse culture between HK and Taiwan, which are only an hour's flight apart.

Note that Phoenix Food Boutique is part of the Phoenix Inn group, and that Phoenix Inn has been serving Cantonese food in Los Angeles for umpteen years (30 or more, actually).

I don't see anything Taiwanese about it except that Taiwanese and HK style desserts sometimes overlap, but it's mos definitely HK.
