Where can I find 13th Century Grut Bier in PA or on the internet?

So I've been searching for a few weeks to try something I bought at a fancy wine store near Towson, MD. I can't remember the place, otherwise I'd brave the 2 hour drive for the stuff. I'm looking for 13th Century Grut Bier to give as a gift to a friend and fellow beer enthusiast. If anyone knows where to buy this in PA, DE, or MD, or can find a website that'll ship it, let me know.

  1. I know I've seen it in Connecticut. If you can't find it, you can order it here:

The website may look cheesy, but I can vouch for this place. The guy who runs it loves beer, and knows what he's doing. They may not list the Gruit on the website, but I know they stock it. I just saw it there a few days ago.

    1. The beer is imported by B. United.

They have a nice "Where to Find Our Products" section. For PA, it's complete with a phone number of their PA. Rep, and a number of retail distributors (which includes 3 of the best known "good beer" retailers in the state). It's also commonly available at most of the :good beer" retailers in NJ, as well.

Thanks, this website helped me track down a vendor who then happened to know that it's served at Eulogy Tavern in Philadelphia. I picked some up last night at a steep 7.49 a bottle, but it's worth it to me.

Well, considering that buying singles (and six packs) in PA means higher than average prices, and on top of that it was was from a bar, that price really isn't that steep. I think the discount liquor stores in NJ price it at $4.99 but I've seen it for up to $5-6.99, too- as well as $11served at a bar.
