Lunch near Union Station

I'm arriving at Union Station on a Tuesday around 1 pm before heading to catch a flight at O'Hare. Looking for a good, not too heavy, spot for lunch close to the train station (I'll be lugging luggage). Any native suggestions would be a boon for this LA traveler. Thanks!

A short walk from the station, for a home-cooked Italian meal:

    Bombacigno's J & C Restaurant
    558 W. Van Buren Ave.
    312-663-4114

Lou Mitchell's has almost always been a disappointment to me and I find it one of the most over-rated spots frequently recommended on this forum. I had a meal recently at The Parthenon, in Greektown, and it was excellent . . . and if you're toting just one suitcase on wheels you could walk there from Union Station - or take one of the CTA busses (or a taxi) for the short trip.

There is a Boston Blackies a block away for a decent burger. Nice outdoor seating for people watching.

      (financial district is the location)

Lou Mitchell's, a block away, is traditional diner fare, and a local institution. There are other options around (e.g. Greektown), but lugging luggage is a pain. Plus side with Lou Malnati's is it is also a block away from the Blue line stop, which i assume you're taking to get to O'Hare.
