Niagara Falls Resto for boys night

Looking for a restaurant/bar for a bachelor party (20ish guys) near the Casino. Decent food for a good price and a good selection of beer. Trying to keep the cost down, so something cheaper than the Keg/Canyon Creek price point. Pool tables would be a bonus, but not necessary.

Reservations are a must.

Any suggestions?

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. Ended up at Canyon Creek after all. Copacabana (and many other restaurants) were brutal with securing reservations - which I don't understand as I'm sure lots of people go to Niagara for group events. Maybe they end up with alot of no-shows? Or maybe they don't need the business?

Still...I'll have to try the local Copacabana some time. Sounds interesting.

Taps Brewing Company Inc. - Great Tasting Beer.
Address: 4680 Queen Street, Niagara Falls Phone: 289 477-1010

Why not take a taxi to Queen Street in Niagara Falls? This is a fun place!

There's also Niagara's Best Brewpub, which opened recently. They meet all of your criteria (well, it's a bit of a trek from the Casino - about a 45 minute walk according to Google Maps - but a cab ride shouldn't cost too much). And they have a "Brewer's Loft" room that looks like it would be perfect for a stag party.

This looks like an overhaul of the Niagara Brewery where they would have tastings. I've been in the space that's called the Brewer's Loft and it would be excellent for a stag gathering. Probably a $10 cab ride from fallsview area. I was there before the food but the beer was excellent.

Yes, same space as the Niagara Brewery, but a different brewery now.

Moosehead bought the Niagara Brewery a while back, and moved it to Brampton a year or two ago.

Niagara's Best is a brewery that used to be located in St. Catharines. They took over the old Niagara Brewing location and moved there a couple of months back.

Thanks for the info gregclow. A friend of mine worked there and said he got laid off because of new owners a couple years back so assumed it was a branding overhaul, didn't realize the full story. I'll be sure to check it out on next visit.

I was going to say the Niagara's Best Brewpub as well. I haven't been yet, but I hear good things about it.

I second Copacabana. I was there a month or two ago, the food was great for the price. If the "boys" are meat eaters then this place is for you. One thing i found a little odd though, there was a lot of meat/cheese combos..parmasan crusted this and cheddar stuffed that.

I third Copacabana, but have only been to the Toronto location. I am assuming they are very similar. The salad bar was actually quite interesting with tons of different salads, smoked salmon, pasta, bread. And the meat was excellent; I went with some preconceived notions of grey overcooked and tough meat but it was the complete opposite; nice rare, tender meats. For dessert they come around with pineapples on spits. Finally, the Toronto location had live music and brazilian dancers and coboera (sp?) as entertainment.

Fourth. Perfect for this kinda thing, price not withstanding. It's not cheap but it's AYCE.

How about Copacabana Brazilian BBQ? $36 all you can eat.
