Restaurant .Com Worth Checking Out

Sign of the times...the bay area list of restaurants has grown exponentially. If you use the code NAPKIN there is 80% off the already good prices. I have never had a problem using these certificates. Sort of sad but a true realization of the tough times businesses are having.

The codes change all the time - I have had decent results using them (maybe 3 of them) - not treated any differently than if I didn't have the coupon.

Yeah, I noticed that as well -- lots of good places on the list. For those not familiar, on restaurant.com you can buy a gift certificate for a discounted price. The regular price is usually $10 for a $25 certificate, but they're always running some kind of discount promotion off that price, so, for example, with the 80 percent promotion, you end up paying $2 (80 percent off $10) for a $25 certificate. Once you buy one, the certificate stays linked to your restaurant.com account until you use it, so you don't have to worry about printing them out and losing them.
