Why no "Report" button for comments on Blogs, Stories, etc?

i feel like i always see spam posted as comments on these pages, but there's no way to report it without starting a new thread or sending the moderators an e-mail about it.

just found this one a few moments ago (see "comment" at bottom of page)...

The blogs and stories are on pretty much totally different software than the boards, and it doesn't have report built in. But you can email [e-mail] and we'll take a look or pass the info along to the appropriate person on the CHOW team.

i wish there was an edit button, but have never seen spam prior to your example, ghg.

maybe i don't see spam so much because i don't really read the blogs often.
