East End Montreal 5à7 recommendations

Hello,

About once a month my coworkers organize a 5à7, alternating between heading downtown and sticking close to work. We work in Pointe-aux-Trembles and most people live around Anjou, St Leonard and Rosemont. Generally we head to Boston Pizza in Anjou but I'm certain the area has more to offer us than that!! We need a little variety.

What we like is:
- good selection of beer, ideally with a happy hour special
- good food, and appetizers for people not staying long enough for dinner
- spacious enough to accomodate a group of 10-20 poeple, depending on the month
- bonus if there's a nice terrace, for the summer time

Everybody seems to have their favourite downtown spot, that's not the problem. We're lacking the neighbourhood gems! Can anyone help me out?

Thanks in advance.

Hmmm! I don't know if it is a neighbourhood gem but you can always try Vinnie Gambini on Sherbrooke E. corner between Viau and Lacordaire. Seen quite a few people there for 5 à 7 and they seem to be enjoying themselves.
