Tabaq vs. Marvin for brunch

Since they are so close together, maybe I should go to both, but I was wondering which would be better for brunch, food-, ambiance-, and service-wise. Also, which has the better chicken and waffles.

  1. I've only been to brunch at Tabaq once (never got the chicken and waffles) but found it only so-so. The few is great but I thought the food was only ok.

I really liked brunch at Marvin though. The chicken and waffles were excellent---a perfect balance of sweet and savory.

Thanks! I was leaning towards Marvin too, though I am also now considering Creme...they are all so close together!

Creme has a LONG wait but it's worth it - I'd avoid the bottomless bloody mary though - it's pre-made and not worth it

Creme is great! But Sasha is's incredibly popular and busy on the weekends and doesn't take reservations for brunch. So get there early.

thanks! I'll try to make it early
