Tabaq vs. Marvin for brunch

Since they are so close together, maybe I should go to both, but I was wondering which would be better for brunch, food-, ambiance-, and service-wise. Also, which has the better chicken and waffles.

I've only been to brunch at Tabaq once (never got the chicken and waffles) but found it only so-so. The few is great but I thought the food was only ok.

I really liked brunch at Marvin though. The chicken and waffles were excellent---a perfect balance of sweet and savory.

Thanks! I was leaning towards Marvin too, though I am also now considering Creme...they are all so close together!

Creme has a LONG wait but it's worth it - I'd avoid the bottomless bloody mary though - it's pre-made and not worth it

Creme is great! But Sasha is right...it's incredibly popular and busy on the weekends and doesn't take reservations for brunch. So get there early.
