Hi,

I am thinking about having Mexican food catered for my wife's 30th birthday party...does anyone have any ideas in this area? I have never been to a party where mexican was catered so i am wondering if this is even a good idea or does it not travel well? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

El Charrito, the taco truck in Stamford caters special events on occasions.

I don't remember the name of the restaurant in Greenwich on Railroad ave south of Archer St. Near the pet warehouse, but they made their own tortillas right in front of you. Any food that in a sauce can travel well( alot of Mexican food is in sauce). Food was good there.

bbqlover, ive been to this place twice now, and it is my favorite mexican restaurant (and i live a half hour away!):

granted, im sure the truck folks can use the money moreso than rio's, but their food is really good, and they have dishes you don't see at the other places. last night i had shrimps broiled in a tomatillo sauce, w/ shredded carrots ummmm it was so flavorful and different. they have all the ole standbys as well, but i like seeing mole poblano enchiladas and chilaquiles on the menu! it's not much farther from stamford either...good luck!

thanks all for the replies! I do like Rio a lot...but I decided to go with Boxcar in Greenwich. The party is in Greenwich and their prices were similar to Boxcar and Ole Mole...thanks again everyone!
