Timmy's by the river

This place is on York Avenue at 91st street. It's a diner. Should have a thriving business being opposite
Asphalt Green and a large ball field.
The food is awful. The coffee is dreadful. The place was empty at about 1030AM yesterday morning.

I had ordered a Greek Salad after seeing the ingredients listed on the menu. They forgot green peppers on the menu.
I'm allergic. I know I'm being silly. I did tell the waitress. All she said was "Sorry". No mention of I'll try to have them

Now to the coffee. YECCH!! I ordered decaf. It tasted like a cross between dishwater and Sanka, with the emphasis on Sanka.

Please avoid this place like the plague.

This is OT - I read your post because it sounded like a "Lassie" episode: "Timmy's in the well''!!!

I moved to the Boston area ages ago. Are Cafe Geiger or the Kleine Konditorei still open in Yorkville?

Both are long gone and sorely missed...
