Best Koobideh/Lula and Kabobs in LA?

lamebrain Aug 6, 2009 01:34 PM

I've had many a kabob and koobideh. There are only two that are worth remembering, can you name a better place?

1. Shamshiri (Westside)
2. Raffi's Place (Glendale)

8 times out of 10 I will order chicken koobideh, so let's use that as the standard. But I do love beef and lamb kabob and koobideh as well.

Thanks for the recs~!

Haven't tried Raffi's, but Elena's (also in Glendale) kabobs are darn good.

I don't care for chicken koobideh, but my favorite beef/lamb koobideh is at Shamshiri (Glendale location only) or Shiraz (also in Glendale)

You're not gonna find better Koobideh in LA than Raffi's. That's a fact

well, unless you get invited to one of my uncles BBQs ;-)

Shamshiri's food is actually quite bad...

            Raffi's decent.

Try Darya on Santa Monica Blvd.

I like Raffi's in Glendale, and Shamshiri and Shahrzade in West LA.

If you are in the San Fernando Valley, and want a cheap hole-in-the-wall, with very good kabob, try It's All Good House of Kabob. That's where my family goes regularly.

If you want to dine out (nice dinner), go to one of the places already mentioned above.
