San Diego - Salvatore's

What gives with Salvatore's? It has been open for YEARS downtown on Front and G Street. I've never been in there, but I notice that's it's never crowded or even half full. How does it stay in business? Has anyone eaten there? If so, please report.

  1. I have eaten there a few times.

    It is actually pretty good.

    For the price though, it doesn't quite match up.

    (I do remember I had a swordfish carpaccio once that was sub par)

    Great place for a drink though.

      1. I have eaten there several times and the food has always been solid. Their ossobuco con risotto is very good. I have to agree with steve, the prices are the main downside.
