Wine in Tokyo

  • 2

Hey,

Wine-lovers in Tokyo, can you recommend me any outstanding places to visit?
Bars, Restaurants, and Cellars/Wine shops are all fine -- I will probably be buying as well given that the prices can be better than elsewhere in Asia.
I'm especially interested in places with interesting/off-beat selections, as well as places with a stock of mature burgundy.

Last time I was very impressed by Elevage and am going to return, but I would like to expand my horizons!

  1. Do you look for different glass wine tasting on Bourgogne ? There is the Bar 6eme sens, the menu is very cheap, not the restaurant. The reservation is not possble. It is in ginza.

Also, the restaurant "Maison de Bourgogne" near Iidabashi station offers mainly bottle wine and is a restaurant. http://www.wine-bourgogne.com/restaur...
And a campaign at Vionys on the champagne Henri Giraud champagne code noir, the champagne is "pernot noir" and the glass is arount 3000 to 4000 yens. They have a selection of champagne form the region of Aube not so far from the Cote d Or....
