  1. Personally, I like Amada better, but I really think it is a matter of taste, not that one is really better than the other. Amada is bigger and livelier. The food is more traditional tapas. Tinto is Basque-influenced, the dishes are good, but not traditional. The food at both is really excellent. Amada has killer sangria and cocktails.

    1. There is no right answer to this question. I vote for Amada but not for any particularly compelling reason. Wherever you end up, I highly recommend one of the Chef's tasting menus + wine pairing. It's really fun to be served plate after plate of delicious food.

      1. Amada for charcuterie and fun drinks. Tinto seemed like it was richer food, and the ciders are awesome. They are both amazing. My one complaint is the seating downstairs at Tinto was uncomfortable.

        1. I prefer Tinto for the Basque influence. And I love those Marcona almonds!

          1. Amada is great!! We actually sat at the counter seats for dinner, which is really nice if you love food and love watching it prepared. One of the best meals I have ever had! Went again for lunch on another occassion and found it to be just as good. Definately a "can't miss" in Philadelphia.

I think both places are great. I tend to go to Amada for lunch and dinner since it's close to my work and home.

At Tinto, I didn't like sitting at such a small table with bar seats. You'll eat well at both places!
