good, casual seafood spot by robert moses tomorrow?

hello everyone, i was just curious about what non-upscale seafood options abound in this area, cuz i always end up stopping at johnny's reef on city island before heading home, and it's high time to check out the area. a nice bar atmosphere would be preferable, and i don't think i want fried seafood ~ i'm thinking something grilled or raw! i do love the ambience at clam shacks tho, if there's any around...thanks for any info!

  1. Fisherman's Catch in Point Lookout has a nice clam bar next door.
Head west on Ocean Drive and take the Loop Parkway to Point Lookout.

    1. Surprising there's not so much right there. We used to go to Babylon Fish and Seafood on Fire Island Ave, it has a City Island feel. Don't know how their kitchen is nowadays. Or if you care to stop half way home, we love RiverBay on Willis Ave, it's just south on the LIE. They have an extensive oyster selection, and gorgeous sushi too.
