Where can I buy pluots?

This recipe this week for trifle sounds great! But I don't know where to get the pluots. North shore / north side preferred.

    Whole Foods Market has them if you live near one.

      Just saw them yesterday in a Jewel supermarket in Naperville. Should be in other Jewel stores as well.

        Absolutely Jewel. Fresh Farms on Touhy also had them. Not an especially exotic item.

      Just about anywhere. Marketplace on Oakton had them as well last weekend.

      You could also use black or red plums in a pinch, there's not much difference except that pluots are more consistently sweeter.

        Stanley's at North and Elston has pretty much any fruit and veggie your heart could ever desire, as long as your willing to put up with crowds and picking through to find the good ones. I'm sure they have pluots.

          harvestime foods on lawrence & talman had them last sunday
