ISO: Buffalo Hot Dogs

Has anyone seen these in the Long Beach or OC area? Just saw a show about hot dogs and these sounded good.
TIA

    1. Are you looking for a hot dog with buffalo or a buffalo style hot dog?

      1. The Whole Foods by me (in Sherman Oaks) carries them, and they're might tasty! They're in their meat department. One day they were cooking some up and giving out samples, and since I've been hooked.

You may want to check your local WF to see if they carry also.

I'm hooked on the Whole Foods buffalo dogs as well.

Thank you, I will. I know they carry the steaks, but I had not seen the dogs.

just wondering, but are these lower in fat than regular beef hotdogs (i hope so)?

These are definitely more lean. As far as the Whole Foods ones go, I've noticed that the casing they use gets charred more easily on a grill with an open flame. You may want to pan grill them slowly in order to avoid the blackening of the casing.

            2. Harmony Farms in La Crescenta may also be able to get buffalo and bison dogs for you. Give them a call and see what they can do for you... 818-248-3068
