Chop up watermelon into extremely small pieces (about the size of large elbow macaroni).

Freeze watermelon pieces on a flat surface.

Placed frozen watermelon pieces in a bowl.

Drizzle with chocolate sauce.

        Or Gin.....but what about Chambord and chocolate sauce? Oh I just thought of that just this moment.....

          Chowhound recipe of a few months ago - cut watermelon into cubes and soak in a combination of 1/2 cup vodka and 1/4 cup Chambord - freeze and serve with toothpicks. These "drunken watermelon pops" were a huge hit at my last pool party...

          Or, sprinkle with this stuff.

          Or.. make a watermelon pico de gallo, replacing the tomatoes with watermelon. It'll take a while to "tinker" with the acidity to get it right (and needs constant tinkering, as it gets sweeter as it sits) but when you do, it's pretty good with plain old tortilla chips .

            I was just wondering if frozen watermelon was any good! i've already experimented with frozen bananas (DELICIOUS!) and frozen grapes (good, but not nearly as good).

              How about a stacked napoleon of alternating heirloom watermelon, yellow tomato with a sprinkling of seas salt, great EVOOm and balsamic drizel....garnish with fresh basil.

                Watermelon + feta is a great combo with a vinaigrette (I like champagne vinegar or lime juice) and some herbs - mint is the best, imho.

                I've actually never done watermelon and chocolate, but I'd try it. :D
