Praiano...Amalfi Coast

We'll be spending 2 weeks in September in Praiano on the Amalfi coast. Can you recommend places in Praiano and also in the neighboring towns of Positano and Amalfi. Thanks

have you used the search feature of this board (above) yet? There are a number of recent threads on this topic, in case you dont get immediate answers. Just insert the name of the town in the search box.

In Positano, we have always enjoyed La Cambusa, Chez Black and Buca di Bacco, all on the beach, for fresh seafood and pasta dishes. A fun dish at La Cambusa is translatedk on their English menu as, "big shrimp and small tomatoes," while the seafood soup at Chez Black is always memorable.

We were there this past September and had good food everywhere: La Strada, La Brace, Il Pino, Il Pirata in Praiano; in Positano at Bruno and also a good inexpensive lunch at the Fornillo Beach bar restaurant. Did not eat in Amalfi, sorry. Have a great time!

A friend who lives on the AC recommended the following restaurants to me recently:

Acquapazza in Cetara (not sure if you want to go that far, and he said it was an "unusual" restaurant but it was his favorite for the food.)
          ~ Lido Azzurro in Amalfi
~ Taverna del Capitano in Nerano, Marina del Cantone
In Positano there's no really special foodie destination, but would consider :
~ Tre Sorelle ( kind of simple all Italian food exp {from pizza to special meat… })
~ Le Terrazze, for the setting.
