Taiwan Recipe that I can't spell

Pampatz Aug 4, 2009 09:00 AM

Our favorite Taiwanese has changed there menu and eliminated a home-style recipe from the menu. I think that it is pronounced Zhou Jon Min. Fine ground pork, mushrooms, water chestnuts (I think) and spaghetti noodles. The sauce is spicy and my husband calls is Taiwanese chili mac. Very homey. Anyone have any ideas about the spelling for a recipe.
Thanks in advance for your help.

does it look like this? http://sgdidisalon.pixnet.net/blog/po...
from the approx pronunciation it sounded like it might have been Zha Jiang Mian (standard pinyin spelling - the Taiwanese have their own way of anglicising pronunciations), but ZJM in Taiwan typically has dried tofu and no water chestnuts...

Thank you, thank you. You lead me to the recipe that we were looking for. DH is excited about making it this weekend.
