Just tried Schnipper's green chile cheeseburger in the NY Times building. Their secret 4 cheese blend with roasted green poblanos on a medium rare burger (and the cheese sauce on the fries too) was awesome! Blew away boring old Shake Shack. Reminded me of Taylor's Automatic Refresher in California

In fact, the menu's are almost identical. http://www.schnippers.com/schnippers_take_out.pdf
Taylor's ahi burger almost made me think about giving up red meat (OK, not really-but it is good).
I must return to try the fish tacos. As far as the green chile cheeseburger-it was quite good. Of course, Bobcat Bite's green chile cheeseburger in Santa Fe with real green chiles is in a whole 'nother league.

Mouth is drooling...Thanks for the great feedback. Schnipper's has been on my list for a while...As has Taylor's. That ahi burger looks amazing. Thanks.

I will have to try the green chili burger. I had a regular cheeseburger with bacon at Schnippers and I wasn't impressed. It was a perfectly fine burger but not at all memorable - Shake Shack beats that by a mile. The chili sauce must be great.

Went back to Schnipper's for the mahi mahi tacos. I've had better fish tacos in California but they were excellent, extremely fresh and as good as those I've had in Florida and certainly as good as any in NYC.
