Rome in August? Can someone recommend something that is open?

So many restaurants are closed in August - all the most famous ones. Can someone recommend a great trattoria or restaurant that is actually open? All great food suggestions welcome? Even tavole calde.

MItanda, this is really the topic of the month on this board - if you use the search feature right above and search Rome August you will find threads discussing this. I think the doney's thread even has a week-by-week list of places.
