You won't believe this, but my friends and I will be in Vegas for a bachelor party.

Jokes aside, we are making this an informal affair (no collared shirts) and I am looking for a few cool places that are laid back and have solid food. The bachelor (not me) likes Italian and Mexican, but all input is welcome. Good bar recos would be great as well. Hole in the wall works if it is accessible from the strip (I haven't been)...

Thanks in advance from Minnesota.

I might suggest Diablo's in front of the Monte Carlo, ESPNZone in the NYNY...nothing fancy but edible.

N9ne steakhouse @ the palms if you are willing to spend more money and be right next to some good bars/clubs (like Ghostbar).

I would NOT recommend Diablos to anyone!

I stayed at the monte carlo last year and wondered into Diablos and was immediately accosted by the security staff there. They were rude to my boyfriend and after a bit of haggling they let us into the main room where at 8:00pm on a saturday night they were mopping the floors.

though it probably has a fun atmosphere, i would think it would be a nightmare for a bachlor party when they seem to give any guy a hard time who goes there.

Lotus of Siam...gets a lot of love on this board. I was sad that I wasn't able to make it there on my recent trip to Vegas...the don't serve lunch on the weekends...and that's the only time I had to visit them.
I did enjoy Burger Bar located in the hallway connecting the Luxor and the Mandalay Bay resorts. I had foie gras and an amazing black tuffle sauce on my Angus burger...best burger I've ever had! They also have yummy milkshakes spiked with booze!
My sister and her BFF went to Mesa Grill's prix fixe lunch for $29 each, and had a great and relaxed three course meal.
The Peppermill is a great bar to go to. Old school Vegas and pretty good drinks.
