There was an show in the '90's that featured an appetizer, a main dish, and a dessert. Each was prepared by a different chef in their own restaurant. It was a very simple and elegant show, but I cant remember the name. Can anyone help?

I believe you are correct. I had some of the cookbooks from those shows, even went to a Northern California restaurant featured in one of them to sample Adriana Giramonti's Linguine Deliziose.

They're all on DVD now.

PS: It was also a show that started in the 80s. :)

Great Chefs of New Orleans lives forever in my heart. Often, when I cook, I pretend the Great Chefs VO woman is narrating what I'm doing: "small h drains the can of tuna, and adds diced celery, mayonnaise, lemon juice and horseradish." I have some mental problems, obviously.
