Will I really use a grill basket/"wok"?

A search showed a question about using a grill basket mainly for fish, after skewering a pound of mushrooms and flipping onions and summer squash the other day, I was wondering if I would be better off with a grill basket. I had one years ago and tossed it because I only used it a couple of times, but I grill veggies more often these days and might like to revisit it.

Any thoughts on either the wire mesh baskets that you can flip, or a "wok" which is really just a pan with holes in it? Thanks!

Pop a screen out of the window.. place on grill.. food on top.
Replace on window when you're done!
    (multi tasking!)

*kidding of course.. that's what those mesh things remind me of. I actually had a few friends convinced this is how you make "BBQ Shrimp" at one point.. they believed me!

I don't use a grill pan or skewers...Just toss the veg in whatever seasoning you like, get your grill smokin, and toss them on.

This might take a little more time than a grill basket, but since vegetables cook in different time incriments your better off being able to take off what is done and leaving the rest for a minute.

      Happy Cooking!

I've got the pan with holes in it and use it for veggies all the time. No need for skewers and they get a good grill taste, which they don't get when wrapped in foil. I use the same pan for shrimp on the grill. Very happy with it.
