<content>Ann and I headed over there around 6:30 Saturday night. Parking on Fairfax was impossible, but we found a space around the corner on a non-permit-parking street to the East.

There was only one other set of diners there when we arrived. Our server was very pleasant and helpful, and Genet was charming.

The food was wonderful. The doro wot, as advertised, is delicious, just spicy enough for my palate. It looked like a disappointingly small portion at first, but injera has a way of stretching a meal. The yebegsiga alitcha, a lamb stew flavored with ginger and cardamom, was also tremendous. And the Ethiopian beer was great. Dinner for two, before tip, was $45, but $14 of that went to two glasses of non-plonk for Ann. We intend to go again with a larger party.
