Great restaurant suggestion for a bridal shower

I'm planning a bridal shower for my sister-in-law for about 40 people. I would love to have it somewhere cute and intimate. My first choice would be a place like Cresheim Cottage Cafe, but they closed :( I also love Valley Green Inn but they are totally booked. Any other ideas for a cute, good place in Monco or Bucks counties? (Already called Caffete and Cake, they won't do a shower)

Anyone know anything about Curds and Whey? Any other ideas of something with charm?

Thanks in advance!!

Jen

A few years ago I hosted a bridal shower for around 40 people at La Cava in Ambler. It was early Saturday afternoon and we had the restaurant to ourselves. It is a pretty subdued atmosphere. We put mini cactuses as centerpieces and had a bottle of hot sauce and a guacamole recipe as a favor. It was very cute and intimate. Not too traditional, but not so far out there that the older ladies there were put off. They played music from a CD we brought. It is BYO so we brought wine and tequila and they mixed margaritas for us. The food was good. We had family style appetizers - guacamole and chips, mini tacos, etc. And we had a choice of 3 entrees - a skirt steak, a pork dish, and a salmon dish. It was great. I think it was $20/pp. A good value. The owner was not the easiest to work with but it turned out great.

My bridal shower was at the Lambertville Inn, right outside of New Hope. We had a seperate room to ourselves, it was a beautiful space and the food was great. All the guests loved it there.
