From the Boot in Ambler - did it open?

I was walking by the new From the Boot location yesterday afternoon and noticed a flurry of activity and lots of food deliveries. Last night we drove by and there were crowds of people outside. Does anyone know if has opened? Or if it was just a soft opening? I am so excited, I can't wait to try it! I looked online and found nothing.

    1. I looked at their website and am surprised they don't even say anything about the Ambler location. It looks like they're open for lunch which is basically my Ambler existence.

      1. I haven't seen much reviews about this place. Has anyone been here recently? We were thinking of heading over there this weekend.

We just had my daughter's christening there and they did an amazing job. On the menu was eggplant rollatini, meatballs, sausage, chicken parm, pasta. Appetizers were antipasta salad and bruschetta. Everything was amazing, everyone raved about the food. Meatballs were fabulous, roasted peppers were homemade and garlic-y. The rollatini converted a number of family members who never tried eggplant before. Service was great, can't say enough good things. As far as regular dinner goes, we have been there and it is also really good. We went a few times when it first opened and it does get really crowded though, and they do not take reservations which is a pain. They still do not have their liquor license so it is BYO, when I was there they served complimentary wine at the bar during long wait for a table.

Agree. This place has managed to get knocks from some posters but I would challenge them to recommend a better place at the price point.
