BBQ Trucks in Central FL

watch me eat Aug 1, 2009 11:12 PM

I've passed by people selling BBQ out of trucks throughout the Central Florida area (mostly in Sanford for some reason). Has anyone had any experience eating out of these BBQ Trucks?

Barbecued/smoked food out of truck seems like it could be a scary thought, but I've been told by a couple of people that the trucks always have the best BBQ. Any insight?

Funny you should ask. I had BBQ from a truck Friday night. The trucks do have some of the best. The truck I went to sits at 441 and limit/wolfbranch roads in Mt Dora. Its called Mike's BBQ and I like it alot. Sometimes the ribs are a little over and sometimes a little undercooked. This happens because buisness is up and down and sometimes slabs sit a little longer or they are selling so much they break into tomorrows batch and they aren't quite ready.
My 2nd favorite truck is on hwy 19 in eustis and it is called holy smokes. These are aslo very good. Both of these trucks charge exactly the same for a slab,,$19!
