Aida Bistro - sigh
We went to Aida Bistro this past week, during Howard County Restaurant Week, and I'm
sorry to say it was a little disappointing. We haven't been there in a while, we used to be big fans, but not so sure any more. The owners ARE wonderful, as is the wait staff. We selected off the prix fixe menu, salads and first courses were very good (I can recommend the stuffed squash blossoms). But entrees were nothing special. I got eggplant parmesan (eggplant was to be from Larriland Farms). Breading on eggplant was good - very light, but the tomato sauce was oddly sweet? My husband got a seafood pasta, he said he's had better.
We'll give Aida another try before dropping it off our list, though. Maybe it was just an off night.
